I can never anticipate what my own reaction will be
As if everything is the first time for me
Relearning a broken language, retracing time
I remember a moment when you were mine
And if that memory betrays me and I only think with my heart
Then I am just as guilty as you for tearing us apart
But if I hold all this in I will surely break
Just another error, just another mistake
So I will say anything to just get me through
Living day to day, living the life we knew
