Puppet Master

By SickSanityJenn

String me along, Puppet Master
Don't let me get too close to you
Lead me on, play the bastard
It's only the right thing to do

You know exactly what to say
All my weakness and my strength
Keep me behind you, all the way
Can't get closer than arms length

Pull the strings, Puppet Master
I'll be sure to keep your hands full
Here there is no applause or laughter
Only our faces glassed over and dull

I know how cruel the world really is
I hide my scars, though you still see
Under paint and side-seam stitches
Is a real girl wanting to break free

So string me up, Puppet Master
Breath into me every pent up scream
We tightly cling onto our disaster
Destruction has become our only means
