Why would you want to rip me to pieces?
Why would you want to break anyone down?
Draw them in with your smiles and teases
Then in your indifference we all drown
I put everything I am on the table
Tried everything to keep your eye
You wandered off and I was recycled
Although I can't say I was surprised
You're not new but you never get old
You start off so alluringly perfect
Quickly tire of us and turn so cold
Is there anything past the surface?
