It's all alright
By SickSanityJenn
I build my dreams upon the sand
Watch as they sift through my hands
Where my castle was, now nothing stands
But it's all alright
The sun feels hot against my skin
I sweat though my clothes are thin
The water beckons and I give in
But it's all alright
The water rises up over my toes
Wade out as far as I dare to go
Happiness swells inside my soul
And it's all alright
I dry off and lay back on the ground
Watch the sky as the sun goes down
Feeling at peace, safe and sound
It was all alright
Even when your dreams get washed away
Even when the words are too hard to say
Even if you are alone and you are afraid
It's all alright

Even though there are lot of sadness and grief, I feel the inner strength, and even when we lose our way or dreams break before our eyes, we have the strength inside to create the new one, something that will make us alive.
