Embrace
By Accused
She holds onto her life like a mother to an infant
She forces herself not to purge or give in
There's loose bottles of pills around the house that had been forgotten
Alone is what she feels
Her daily routine is to manage to stay alive and not cry
She criticizes everyone who tells her she’ll be fine
She begs herself not to purge
She begs herself not to give in
She smiles when she wants to frown
She doesn’t cry when she’s down
So she holds onto her life like a tight embrace
