Incomplete

By SickSanityJenn

They drink up her sanity
Just to spit it at her feet
Everything she tries to be
Is stolen by their need
She's losing her humanity
With every sinful deed
They've twisted her reality
And corrupted all she sees

As the blood pools all around
A blade drops to the ground
She stares without a sound
The only salvation to be found
No more a prisoner is she bound

They twist apart her sanity
It's dripping at her feet
Everything she wants to be
Is useless to their need
She lost to their inhumanity
For all their sinful deeds
She's tossed from reality
Confused by all she sees

An empty shell she stands alone
Nothing more than skin and bone
Torn apart by all she's ever known
Such a pathetic woman half grown
Never at peace in her own home
