Letter To My Daughter
By mikeygreenleaf
Til the end of my days
I'll help you along
Walk hand in hand
Singing a song
Of love and devotion
Rest easy my dear
And know that your daddy
Will always be here
I never will promise
To know all that is right
But you can find solace
In knowing I'll fight
For you tooth and nail
God help any who may
Think twice about putting
You into harms way
I could never put value
On love so profound
But I'll bet every last breath
To keep hearing the sound
Of your adoration
Your praise and the way
Each time that I see you
Seems to brighten your day
Lean on me when you're weary
These words will stay true
For you are my strength
That guides all I pursue

Bravo! This is outstanding in all its wonder and I commend you. Being a parent is difficult and there is always that thought in the back of your head that questions... am I in her best interest. I say yes, yes you are. .hugs the Mikey. This is just awesome♥
