Poets Prose
By vicimineo
Unto a poet's proseĀ and singer's song,
We march in tuneĀ and follow along.
Along a writer's weary trails,
Among a dreamer's lonesome wails.
We feast our eyes upon their glory,
And listen in earnest to a faraway story.
In hopes that someday life will intwine,
With a magical melody, story, or rhyme.

Nice flow. It's got a melody to match the meter. Very much enjoyed reading this.

Nice inking. :) it reminds me of a quote; I can't remember the exact or even the author... but it referenced that; 'the writer tricks the reader into listening to their dreams'. A little off topic, but I have always loved poems on the subject of poets, I have one myself.. called The poet's quill. thanks for reading..

I love it when my head bobs and my food taps to the rhythm of words without music. Well played.
