Pink Penguins and Plaid Polka Dots

By Geronimo

It is now half past your own self-comprehension,
quarter to: oh yeah, I forgot to mention,

Staring into your half empty cup of coffee, Half full of guilt,
Straight edge, edging nearer and nearer the Earth's tilt,

Following a pink penquin and seeing plaid polka dots spin around your head,
The ground above is purple, the sky below is red.

Locked yourself in the southwest corner of your mind unable to blink,
hiding there in the darkness in order to think.

It's now ten til a quarter of three AM, when you finnally realize, the penquin is going in circles and the dots aren't the same size.

And it is then that you finnally break through your thoughts,
You've been following a penquin who is chasing plaid polka dots...
