Frost Bites

By SickSanityJenn

Oh, for my hope cannot grow
Under constant falling snow
Delicate love withers and dies
Within your heart made of ice

In frosted silence I weep
My defenses collapse in defeat
No words can touch such despair
Of my shattered heart laid bare

I try to look past your disguise
With winter-devistated eyes
To find the warmth you hold
But I'm cast out feeling cold

Oh dear diamond plated heart
Your brilliance tears me apart
Unfathomable form of steel
Have you no feelings to feel?
