EULOGIES
By infinitebeing
Self abused poets write eulogies for dead dreams
yesterdays lie
becomes tomorrows wish laden with regret.
Deeper meaning takes shape in the dark
Rain falls in careful drops in the real world
soft sardonic poetry begging you to come home.
Lamenting freedom in a prison made of bone dust
gathers on memories fading from view
sunrise - sunset, ill make it home yet.
