~Angel Babies~

       Angel babies born on earth
never told the value of their worth
              walking dead under moonlit misery
     followed by the shadows of who they
  failed to be
     from the door i watched yesterdays
  love expire
 so i warmed my heart with a spoon
     and fire
Dreams fade from sunken eyes
  with a split decision the empires
of my destiny fall and rise
          All of lifes possibilities surrendered
    to chance
Someday they'll call the dead
               to dance.
