Madness and Despair

By Diabolical Incantations

Twisted egos and tortured souls
steeped in vengeance and drilled with holes.
Tumbling through the limits of sanity
rambling endless curse and profanity.
Sickened conscience will waste away,
locking your mind away from the light of day.
Fear of self and fear of light,
embracing darkness, knowing only the night.

A raving lunatic on the prowl,
a tortured scream, a deathly howl.
Midnight stalker, a deadly foe,
a perfect killer filled with misery and woe.
Depravity, no holes barred.
Insanity, morality scarred.
A wasted life without a care,
leavings of madness and despair.

This is one of your best, I think. It definitely breaks from your usual pattern and style, but for some reason that makes it all the more fascinating. There are such a wide range of techniques that you employ in your writing . . . this is one of my favorites.

The flow is impeccable, with a dark and sinister force leading the way, much like it, ~sort of felt like I was slicing through dark skies, circling my prey from above. :)~
