Run down and Dead

By devilsrighthand

Run away, but it’s far too late

They all know your life isn’t up for debate

Weaving throughout the dark labyrinth of time

You’re over half way now; you’ve passed your prime

You’ve lived your life like that of all

Following trends, ever since you could crawl

But now you’re at that vault door, you try to pry

But what you don’t realise is that your life was a lie

Weakness takes over; as you lay down to die

Not even a goodbye…
