unraveling all these secrets
ive tried so hard to hide
realizing in the process
all i did was allow my ego to rise
clouding all that ive believed
from what those men have stripped from me
now that ive met someone like you
the mask can finally be removed
the one that covered all my shame
the one that said i was to blame.
