It’s cheap, but I somehow still feel cheated.
The Bargain Brand syllables you whined relentlessly into me
Filling me till frustration foamed from my lips like rabies.
It’s the lies. You see, I find them exhausting.
Though I never really fed you deceit like silver spoon cradled candies
I just knew you weren’t worth the copper-penny-truth.
