I am not real

By Despair

I awaken shivering, drowning
Falling deeper as I rise
Into the hole that I have dug
For myself
And no one else

I slumber peacefully, painfully
Trying to figure out
The extent of the damage and the pain
That I refuse to feel
I am not real
