Offering
By Despair
I can feel the blood pouring from my eyes
I can smell the stench of a dying corpse
My limbs decay before my eyes
This has happened before. Where am I?
Why?
It comes with the night
Opens my skull
It becomes me
Tells me what I am, it is what I wish to be
The blood now spills from my neck
Paints me red and reminds me when...
What was once shall be again
My answer to the night's eternal call
Parched veins cry for relief
A thousand screams from the silence of death
Closer to what I was, what I've always been
More is required
More shall be given
Reddening the sky
Blackening my veins
Open every surface until all has been drained
Give yourself to what you are
Tainted self shall cease
All becomes one

The kind of darkness that pricks at your eyeballs till you'd be glad if you grew blind, in a good way. I have to say that you see human nature in a frightening way, but writing is the best way possible to exteriorize such demons. Great work, and again, welcome to DP.
