Breaking
By Korruption
The pain of separation.
Not of your choice but someone else's.
They leave,
Abandon you in your time of need.
You try to hide
your pain,
You try not to cry.
Try to hide your tears behind
a wall,
The wall becomes a mask,
The mask becomes permanent.
Slowly over time you lose sight of who you are.
You start to wonder
who will be there when you break?
How close you are to breaking?
When you do break you fall apart.
No one is there,
You cry
out in pain but no one can hear you,
Because they aren't listening.
They never will hear you cry.
They say let it out,
Tell
someone.
But for you there is no one to tell,
No one who will
listen,
They all shove you off to someone else
Each of them worried
with their own plans.
Yet slowly you fall down,
You see the
walls crashing around you as the sky falls.
In one final attempt
to cry out you scream,
Then it all goes black,
And you
lose sight of yourself. For one last time before part of you dies.

Thank you, but the words speak for themselves, I just put them together.

I must apologize if my commenting on your work seems trite! Your words are from your soul therefore I feel it is a wonderful piece. The emotion is thick as you read, making the reader feel the writers intentions. Very well penned.

Thank you I try to only write when I'm feeling one emotion so the work isn't muddled.
