Lost
By FrozenButterfly
The sweet scent of a summer rain
Oh come once more to me again
The soft touch of a butterfly’s wings
Daybreak beckons as blue jay sings
Sun shining warmly upon my cheek
Where is this happiness I seek
Buried deep beneath the freeze
Of winter’s bitter broken breeze
That ices over any heat
Leaving nothing but defeat
I yearn to feel those days once more
To feel the waves upon the shore
Oh come now withered memories
I am the rusted lock and you the keys
Find now this soul wandering, lost
Before I am too deep inside this tempest tossed

This poem rhymes and flows very well. The subject of change is portrayed very well.
