Motivation

By Ekoe-Angelee

Overcome the walls of abashment,
Master these emotions from deep within,
Running through the barriers of torment,
Breaking through the webs of sin.

Wandering through the depths of despair,
Floundering in the sea of nothingness,
Fighting through the broken walls of no repair,
Fumbling through the myths of happiness.

Creating obstacles for those who are incognizant,
Numbing the torment that has been afflicted,
Banishing those who are absent,
Changing my life to what I depicted.

Motivating myself to fight vigorously,
Wishing to be completely impervious,
Knowing life won’t be that easy,
Moving forward with optimism to be victorious.
