Holiday

By BrideToAgony

Boys and girls
All across the world
Ask for gifts of grandiose proportions

And mothers and fathers
Look at sons and daughters
And wish they'd followed through with abortions

If only they had
They'd be oh so glad
And they'd also have saved a fortune

Because in this economy
Wallets open so solemnly
And children act out through extortion

So when next you're dwelling on the size of your present
Remember your parents are merely peasants
And keep those wishes locked tight in your dreams

So all you little bitches
Cease your gluttonous wishes
Lest your parents reconsider their schemes

This made me laugh. "And wish they followed through with abortions". Well written too, it flowed very nicely. You're absolutely right about the holiday season, people's wants are getting fatter and their wallets are just getting thinner. Personally, I find Christmas to be a bit hypocritical. Anyway, nice write
