The door is closed
Like my life to those who "know" me
Yet still he tries to open
So loyal to his friend
To his lover.

Ordinary day for him
The end of a LONG straw for me
Two gleeming eyes peer past the door
Like two suns that make a whole
Like my heart to see his face

Sun gleaming beams of fire
Rays of streeking power
Across the floor, paints a picture
Of a man on his last
A picture of sorrow and regret

Shock sealed shut my fate
His mouth rimmed in horror
Slip, shock, kick the chair
White snake carved into my neck
Shapes faded and his eyes would never forgive, fire engulfed,
As I felt death's violent grasp
Rip me from my world and into silent paradise
