Ive been lost in darkness for a while now
Its something that happens to us all from time to time
I just have people believeing im lost in it though
I didnt get lost in the darkness

Really, im there to guide the lost ones that need help
Like a sheep dog does the herd
Everyone falls off the beaten path sometimes
But i never fell off

I got off of it
There are those bold ones that are tired of the path everyone walks
And even those that get pushed off
Im not the first one, and im sure im not the last

There are several people here like me
Those that only serve as guides
Ive met alot of them, young and old
Some just dont know it, and the others, well, we dont speak of the others

Those are the ones that try to get you lost
They want you to be like them
Tricksters
But they normally never succeced

That where suicide comes from
The tricksters tell you its fine
They say go for it
But these arnt real people, Oh no

Those voices you hear in your head
Telling you whats right or wrong
Thats us and them
The Guiders and Tricksters

Trust me, i would know
With the life ive had
Ive gotten to know each one personally
And i know who to listen to

I cant lie, i did listen to the Tricksters
More then once, like a get the feeling many of you have listened to them
But the Guides, they saved me
Each time, something happened that would mess the others up

And im thankful for it
Im grateful the guides watched me as i made this journey i call a life
Because without them, i would be gone
To a place LostInDarkness

*And the light shineth in darkness and the darkness comprehended it not*

This is the rule the guides follow
They are the light, the helpers, the saviours
The Tricksters are the darkness, the thieves, the 'life stealers"
This is what the world is like

Maybe i have taught you something
Maybe you just thing these are the sayings of a mad lunatic
Maybe its both, or neither
