Cold White Morning
By ForestDark
Take them from me
these tears
you can have them
A winter's
offering
of liquid crystal
on this cold white day
They
fill the air
with a feeling
of change
that hangs
palpitable
from your hands

I keep coming back to re-read it. I love it. It's beautiful. And it takes me back home to my mountain. No one but you has been able to do that for me. Thank you.

Thank you Lux. Do you like Winter songs. Have you heard of an unrecorded song by the Stones called "Blood red wine". It reminds me of a perfect winter's night.

This spoke to me in ways you can't imagine. The imagery for the cold...It was amazing. Reading this, breathing in, I could feel the cold rush through my lungs, with an air of wistfulness. I miss the cold. Wonderful first read for you.
