~Walk With Me

By ForestDark

                    Wicked Children's Nursery Rhymes~

                I'll walk with you,
                and arm in arm
             we'll kick dry leaves
and laugh at those who say we're "sweet",
               invite them home
              and serve them tea,
that tastes of bitter almonds please!

                And after, when
             they are quite dead,
their cries still ringing in our heads,
              we'll wrap them up
               in sheets of red
and sing so sweet, "our day's complete!"

              Then in the morn
             with sun so bright,
we'll think of things we did by night.
           We'll dance with glee,
              as children flee
          and ponder on this happily!
