~Unloved Beauty~

 A  caring hug never received

the softest kissed never placed

a pain inside that no one can relieve

a young soul going to waste

a warm cheek, streamed lightly with tears

a heart left broken, and bleeding

words uttered peirce me like spears

on my fragility they are feeding..

she harms herself, so that  they cannot

emptiness overwhelms her

sadness fills every thought.

she struggles to go on

carrying her demons on her shoulders

lost in the night & waiting for dawn

as each day passes, her heart grows colder.
