Lottsa Little Makes A Lot

By daiglepoems

Learned a little 'bout the Bible as a kid in Sunday School.
Learned how to sue for liable.
A very handy tool.

Learned it's always best to smile when ya got a bridge to sell.
Learned about a fair trial
and a Motion to Compel.

I learned from what was said at the School of Hard Knocks
where I learned to use my head
instead of building blocks.

Learned methods of appliance at the School of Modern Arts.
Learned a lot about defiance
at the School of Sacred Hearts.

Learned the restaurants and bars.
Even worked in one or two.
Hand rolled cigars and Premiere Grand Cru.

I learned about sports.
I'm a huge Laker fan.
Love those home courts.
Place a bet when I can

cuz I learned to pick the winners
like Leonard and Ali.
Learned that saints are always sinners.
Not to put my trust in thee.

Learned a little lottsa times.
All the littles I've been taught
reminds me of the march of dimes.
Lottsa little makes a lot.
