Fallen from Grace

Neath the roaring bloodred sky
I found myself battered and torn
Thunder pleads my liberation guilty
As mother nature mourns her lost son

Woundless pain embrace my body
Trapped in realms vile, i'm the derelict
Stripped off the warmth of light's cradle
Illusion or nightmare an eternal conflict

Cascading pillars of a desolate faith
Shudder the credence deemed pure
Vengeance reeks havoc in human flesh
This world now a seed of my hatred

You claim with pride that paradise is mine
When your faith is built on pillars of lies
The path to salvation draped in blood
Where was god, When my innocence died???
