LIES II

By OptimisticPessimist

Lies fucking suck.

I didn't think that childhood sayings,
Childhood morals,
Were actually lies.

Weird.

"Sticks and stones may break my bones

But words will

Never

Hurt

Me."

This is a lie.
A formulated lie to send children into Hell because

Words
Hurt.

Like metal,
Steel,
Titanium alloy.

Poking and prodding and jabbing me down to a
Bone-breaking (caused by sticks and stones)

Inferno.

Lies hurt.

Childhood memories
Hurt.

They slice and cut me into a
Tall-taled
Insanity.

I didn't know that Hell really doesn't have
Fire that burns.

No, it has fire that cuts,
Pokes,
Prods and
Jabs.

It has fire that is retained in
A leather-bounded,
Paper-filled
Book.

Sadly this world is full of lies. And I agree, words do hurt. Its almost impossible to believe in anything anymore. The only things I really believe in right now are music and poetry. People suck, they just fucking suck! If you ever need to talk, I'm here, I've been to that place of lowest lows and I understand.

I believe we will get along just fine. Thank you Tas. May I call you that? It's much shorter. Music and poetry are all that is keeping me here. Thank you for your concern. It works vice versa too you know. Anytime, anywhere.
