Lie You Here

By alesana

Now I hear a heartbeat
Pulsing through the walls,
Closing in around me,
Shouting out my faults.

Lie you here beside me
The moment that I die;
Succumb to the darkness,
Listen to me cry.

Let not your fears surround you,
Calling in the night.
Wandering in the winter,
Screaming in the fight.

Once far in the distance,
The silver wolves will hunt.
Out across the valleys
Warriors confront.

Our souls forever straggle,
Struggling to be free,
Hands forever clasped
For eternal journey.

Guessing it's not going to happen then - lying beside you in life that is. Darkly grim and despondent and hope somebody gives you a new smile soon, cheers!
