BlackHeart

By innocence

Blackness breaks light
A shattered heart of a soul
Who was once full of light
Now remains empty and cold
Silence is the essence of what once used to be
A young beautiful girl
Who's life turned cold unexpectedly
Oh sweet sorrow
To feel we must bleed
Cut open past wounds,
Replace hate with a new seed
It's when we close our eyes
That we begin to truly see
We must live the lives we sought
and fight the toxins we tend to breathe
Pin your heart upon your sleeve
for we have all made this mistake
give your all to only fall
and live every day with heartache
Lessons are to be learned here
falling in love is for the weak
Took the knife you left inside
and cut out the parts of my heart left so bleak

not finished yet i think....
