Would You Cry?

By OptimisticPessimist

If I wasn't here tomorrow,
What would you say today?
Right now.

If my coffin lid closed tomorrow,
Would you cry?
Would you, with outstreched arms
And with searing pain,
Lay on my closed coffin and dream,

Wish,

Of my embrace?

If, as I was lowered into the ground,
You let out an agonized scream.
With tears flowing down your soft, pale cheeks?

As they described how my attempt at S
uicide succeeded,
Would you sit there,
Quietly sobbing?

Would my closed eyes be satisfied by the agony of your cries...

                                                               Would you?

I wouldn't be so sure...friends maybe, Autumn yes, family...I dunno.

Sometimes, we need people to hear our cries, and yours ring loud and clear. This is a safe haven, man. Not only do we relate to your current struggles, but we can also help you grow as a poet. You are worth it and so long as you have a community like this, you will have a reason to live. Peace, man!
