The Lover

By AllenTaylor

It always ends like this

My mind caught up in

Belief suspension

If I had my final wish

I'd wish to hold

Just an ounce of your attention

To hear my soul

Hear my words

See my love pour out

And kiss the earth

I'm the sky

I'm the rain

I'll quench your thirst

And ease your pain

It always ends like this

I have to prove

My existence

If there's one thing that I miss

Our sacred bond, no boundaries

No distance

Hear my soul

Hear my words

See my love pour out

And kiss the earth

I'm the sky

I'm the rain

I'll wait for you

Till the end of the age

I wish you would look in my face

I wish you didn't replace...me

My legs are weary from running the race

My heart is for you

And exactly HOW do you expect me to write something about how much I love this without sounding hard and callous next to a write like this? A write with such beauty, such elegance. How man? You always do this to me. Just.....wow.

hahaha thank you very much...there's this girl...
