Melody of your life

By AllenTaylor

I want to be the harmony in the melody of your life
I want to wake up and feel your warmth by my side
I want to hold you close as the sun is shining bright
And lay you down when you are tired, and kiss your lips goodnight
The time that you are sound asleep I can only pray
You'd dream of me and dance with me, and sing the night away
Waking up at three a.m with the stars in your eyes
I'm feeling like a normal man, who's won the Nobel Prize
To touch your cheek and stroke your hair
Feeling your shoulders rise
I touch your arms and kiss your neck
And then you close your eyes
Dreamworld slowly beckons you
And you lay upon my chest
My heart beats a rhythm for you
And here you'll find Free Rest...

Okay, that's it. Am I going to have to fav every single poem you post? I mean, really?!? You're writing these faster than I can possibly comment on. And oh how I want to comment on them. God man, you are amazing. This was lovely.
