Your Eyes

By AllenTaylor

 I wish I could write a song
That would express my every thought
Each inflection, each progression
That draws you closer to my heart
And Iv'e been reaching in the vaults
And the chambers of my mind
Bridging the gaps of what's been taught of
When you fall into someone's eyes

Your eyes that bloom wide, in the early morning sun
Your eyes that catch me quick, and captivates my lungs
Your eyes that melt my heart into a puddle on the floor
Your eyes that fill me up, until I need no more

Your cheeks that make me smile and makes me want sing
And your hair in your face that colors everything
A black and grey world wont exist when you're around
A vibrant view of life! full of colors, sights, and sounds

Your freckles on your nose, spotted bliss to connect the dots
The freckles on your forehead, I'd kiss every single spot...
But my lips are too big  haha But I'll still give it a shot

Your smile that I adore and treasure in my soul
I could bury my face inside your arms and cry and lose control
To be vulnerable and broken and weak when I'm with you
Reminds me why I love you so much, oh wait I can't explain it
