Bring them Darkness

Please no more
Sarcasm has no place here
No excuse for the reason

Please no more
Jesters smiles are not welcome
Finish your grins and leave

I'm begging you
Take what you want and go
Barren this soul of possessions

I'm begging you
Use this light to ensnare the naive
Steal their gumdrops and replace with screams

Oh my God!!! make it stop
Bleed them dry and let me be
Bring them the pain that few desire

Oh my God!!! make it stop
Tell them stories of hope and faith
Show a world of unattainable grace
