Chooser of the slain.

By Sin Amor

Under great hardship,
The gods may shade their eyes,
And those of the flesh will always be incapable,
As those limited by human fallibility.

So, do I commit to who will never fail me.
You of unturned faith and tamer of barborous currents,
You of steel body and volatile heart.
You who shall be called, 'Eir'.

Guide me through these dark and petulant seas.
Guard me against mine enemies and unrelentious desires,
Take me to the furthest edges of all under heaven,
And I shall reach out as your spear... and pierce the earth.

Very articulate and educated. Most impressive piece with a few tweaks: barbArous, steEl body, unrelenTING. I only suggest because you are close to perfection, thanks
