Life As It Is

By silentnomore

The day will come,
And soon pass by.
It will grasp you tight,
And take you by surprise.
Live the day,
Like there is no tommorow.
You will have your times of joy,
and surely moments of sorrow.
An ocean within,
That will soon drain.
In the midst of the heat,
Its calling after you again.
It must be replenished,
or empty it will soon become.
As surely as life shall no longer exist.
