While You Caress the Small of My Back

By HadassahDare

I feel the shadow of your
eyelashes against my  chest,
they fringe out and curl in,
your fingers slowly caress
the small of my back as I
kiss the green sky and hold on
to the black velvet rope
that tied me to your windowed soul
that mirrors my past and keeps
my love trapped as music notes
drift in front of my eyes while
you caress the small of my back and
the whole time I feel the shadow of your
eyelashes against my chest.
