Homicide Disguise

By alesana

I clasp the dagger with all my strength
Watching you lying, begging for life
My eyes narrow, my lips smirk
Slowly, slowly, I press the knife into your chest
Breaking your heart, breaking your soul
You can whimper and scream
Apathy seeps from my pores
I twist the knife soaked
In your life force disappearing
The blade slips, slicing my palm
I relish the agony.
I sigh, knowing this must end
Remove the blade and wipe it clean
And softly with a smile,
I place it in your hand.
