Hollowed halls

By kenneth

Behind these great castle walls
Barrin empty and lifeless
There is only hollowed halls
Filled only with emptiness

At one time filled with many warriors
Many a battles we met
There were survivors
All dead now but not me yet

We fought for king and country
Many men made it to Valhalla
Many men found divinity
I couldn’t meet up with ya

I can hear the voices of the past
Echoing in the hollowed halls
I alone am the last
Now ancient these castle walls

I long to be reunited with my brethren
I will go out in a glorious battle
So I may be with my brothers again
And again together we will ride onward into battle

Great fantasy. Cute rhymes. Reminds me of the video game, Final Fantasy. I guess I don't know much about Fantasy Lit yet.
