Of The Night

By maliceman

Caress her hair, as dark as night
as the blood drips from the bite
Two small holes upon her neck
two stream of blood run down her breast

She falls asleep, the sleep eternal
until she awakens, reborn anew
better, stronger, the perfect breed
In her blood i've planted the seed

By her side i watch her lie
Doubled in beauty since the night she died
until she awakens, i will fast
pay no attention to the nights that pass

Her eyes open, beauty incarnate
she asks "Am i human?", i answer "Far from it."
And into the night i lead,
together we shall feed

Her humanity i did sever
My final endeavor
to ensure our love
will last forever
