Crepuscular Temptress

By Virgils Vigil

Fall upon us reticent night

Drip dark shadows beneath the moon

Torture tells of how your touch will

Caress us to a blinded sight

Radiant skies, hear my plight

Summon forth the distant dusk

Bleak and blurred, crepuscular temptress

Fall upon us reticent night

Hidden within there is no light

Deep in the soul’s distant tomb

Under veil of caliginous clouds

Caress us to a blinded sight

Fall upon us reticent night

Grant us deep tenebrous tomb to

Caress us to a blinded sight
