Untill I Wake

By pureevil8

I awake screaming into the darkness,

Alone,

A tear soaked pillow and blood covered sheets,

The burning pulsing tracks of love,

Streaked down my back from my dreamy reality,

Wonderful reminder of your cold steel lust,

Painted on my pail flesh in beautiful scarlet,

And the bitter sweet taste of your lips,

Still lingering upon mine,

As if they were still pressed firmly there,

Swallowing each other’s pain and sorrow,

Only to exhale in bliss feeding upon each other.

The scars of your love stack so beautifully,

Wounds I wear so proudly,

So willingly…

Trophies of the nights we share,

Twisted and tangled within one another,

To the very edge of death and back,

As we tear at each other like beasts,

Filling the night air with screams of pain,

Screams of ecstasy,

Indecipherable from one another,

As are we in this eternity,

Forever together,

Until I wake…
