Invite me to death
By Cindy-ydniC
Invite me to death,
Served with a platter of red blood
In my chalice cup:
The
poison, sweet decadence: sweet
Plate full of my raw guts
Seasoned
with your malice
Invite me to death,
Guide me by the
hand to your torture room
Enclosed in closets bones in it structure
Under bed covers their hopes
Under sheets their dried blood
Under your pillow their muffled screams
Invite me to
death,
Kiss my lips till I lose all sensation of them
And then
you will cut my throat
The crimson staining your hands
Your
creation, my beautiful end
You take a Polaroid for a memento

the beginning of this seemed to work in some great imagery, almost medieval, maybe. Love the play of death/death, the anaphora works well, too.... bring about that tone of doom, perhaps. The polaroid seemed to contrast sharply with the somewhat medieval imagery I envisioned early on... quite the snuff poem, well done, and thanks.
