Untitled

By SoPrecious

You gently pick up my faintly beating heart
like an ancient book
you pry it open slowly
tracing every emotion with your eyes
caressing every word with your fingers
as your turn each worn page
each one filing your soul with another
withering piece of me
you take in every beat that it lets out
they travel through your yearning body
to pulse in time with yours
Truely a lovely sound

Our hearts are two..
but our blood is one.

You reached a depth and written it so gracefully. I'm a bit speechless in a profound way. Bows- Scholar
