Lacerated

By Perkele

Turn that lacerated gaze over my way
vexation in every slow batted eyelash
wells bored out with afflicted sentiment
overflow now as we attempt this transition

She says don't touch my hips and don't look at me
with that kicked puppy dog face you use perpetually
and what am I to say, replies fall on unhearing ears
I speak anyway,
My heart aches with this elbow proximity

But I know,
these feeble words will never quench your thirst

So get out your serrated blade
the one daddy gifted for instances like this
and push it up under my last drifting rib
pour out this quintessence, that glowing
that has been fading ever since

Let the glee infect your placid face
upturn the lips I miss to kiss into something wicked
Give me a glimpse of the you I diminished
I crave another second in your presence
