A Lie Before A Truth

You know that i can't be your superman
But i will save you nonetheless
You may or may not have been loved before
But i will love you the best

I know that you can't be my Wonderwoman
But a wonder is what you are
Nothing can stop us now
Our love has brought us so far

I may not be psychic
But i can see us lasting forever
Life is not a sharpened blade
Our love it cannot sever

This is not a dog-eat-dog world
I think we'll have the salad
This moment is not a symphony
but our love is like a ballad

Hatred is not a monkeywrench
It cannot destroy our love
No matter what is thrown at us
it will never be enough

Ok, so i loved you,
That i must confess

You could never be my Wonderwoman
"Wonder" is what you're not
Nothing can stop my hate now
I guess you're not what i thought

I know I'm not psychic
But i always know when you're lying
Life is a very sharp blade
It will be there when your dying

In this dog-eat-dog world
You stabbed me in the back
I never wanna see you again
Compassion is what i lack

Hate, the answer to all questons
You were never in love with me
I hope you choke on your lies
Because the truth has set me free (of you)
