To Jen

By Dick_in_my_Ass

I know I haven't posted anything in quite a while, and there's a good reason for it. My best friend is terminally ill with valley fever. The medication needed to treat valley fever (not cure it, there is no cure) has the nasty side affect of causeing fatal liver damage. Though it's uncommon, it managed to happen to her. So I'm posting this in the hopes that you guys, whether you like her or not, will pray for her to recover even though her condition is beyond shitty, and the doctors think she's only got a month or so to live. She didn't want me to tell anyone we knew, so i haven't, but the silence is killing me. I only just thought to post here, to tell you about my best friend since kindergarten, the girl who befriended the five year old emo kid, gave me a shoulder to cry on and an ear to listen to my troubles, a girl who helped me up when i fell and picked up the pieces of my heart when it was broken, and always had a hug and smile for me no matter how bad she felt herself.
Here's to you Jen. May you find peace in the afterlife.

So sorry to hear about your friend, life does not add up sometimes. I don't pray but I wish you both strength and I wish you both peace.
